this is the first dystopian/fantasy novel i’ve ever read and i can safely say it’s my absolutely FAVORITE book ever. i’ve reread this about 6 or 7 times and it never gets old. the movie cannot hold a CANDLE to this book.

so this was one of the big three dystopias everyone talks about. why was this a movie it was a terrible book. the main character was a mary sue, the romance was dull, and the plot twist was not twisty. the only guy i liked died.

I wasn't sure I'd like this series, since I've had mixed results reading YA stuff, but this was really good! A very interesting plot, with some good twists. Now I can go watch the movie (always have to read the book first).
