I enjoyed all the books in the trilogy. Like all mafia romances, there are plenty of triggers, but I appreciated that she didn't gloss over them, she treated them like the traumatic events they were. I was most peeved by the narration and dialogue in some parts. There were quite a few times throughout the series that I felt no one would ever say it like that in "real life", but it wasn't consistent or ridiculous enough to wholly take me out of the story.
Envy is the last book in the Sinful Empire Trilogy. Okay, so I know this has nothing to do with this book but I love Port and Antonio Huntsman makes Port and I want to try his award winning Port. That being said, this is the conclusion to Antonio and Daniela’s story and we finally get our HEA!
Daniela has grown into her right to be by Antonio’s side. There is a sexy side to this story too! They can’t seem to keep their hands off each other and yet Antonio keeps a part of him from her in order to protect her. His is a dangerous world to live in and Daniela’s life has never been easy and quite honestly heart wrenching things happened in her lifetime.
There is so much I want to say here but then there would be a spoiler so I will just say. I enjoyed reading about this angst driven, suspenseful, hawt story. I am looking forward to reading more books by this author.

Antonio and Daniella are amazing!
The "Sinful Empire Trilogy" is the type of book series that will make you smile, cry, and ball your fists up in anger. In a nutshell, this book is awesome for it!
Antonio and Daniella are thrust together based on a promise and a betrothal contract. Daniella doesn't want it and Antonio wants it for reasons that concern business and marrying the daughter of the man that mentored him is not in the plan. Soon as he meets Daniella, the sparks fly between them both. Soon they are thrust into danger as the acquisition of Daniella's family vineyard brings Antoinio more power that puts both of their lives and thei loved ones in danger.
This book took me through a myriad of emotions. I found myself frustrated with Daniella and even more frustrated with Antonio. But, oh the ride these two took me on! Antonio is a right bastard! LOL He has the worst potty-mouth and is so disrespectful. But, I'm here for it! LOL The secondary characters kept my attention and I wished Cristiano had his own book. I would have loved to see him take the lead in his own story.
This is definitely as trilogy with triggers. Antonio is a true alphahole and at times, he made me shake my head in utter disgust. But as hard as he is on those around him, he loves even harder. He's a very strong character and by the end of the trilogy, he didn't break character but he did become much more likeable. This is a good series which I read stright through. Well done, Ms. Charles. You've found a fan in me! Excellent Series!
Happy reading!

Good story, bad execution.
That’s the only way I could come up with to explain this series. This last book was so chaotic, my brain was working so hard to try to make any sense out of it.. I mean don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the story through out the series, I just hated everything else.
The characters, especially Antonio and Daniela, were so boring and extremely annoying. Side characters? Bleh as hell, I’m someone who always falls in love with children in this book but I almost couldn’t stand Valentina. Cristiano and Lucas? I wouldn’t even notice if they were gone. The only one I seemed to like was Dimitri..and he was the side of the side characters. Also, there was no tension between the main characters. Others might disagree but like I really couldn’t feel it…didn’t enjoy the spice one bit because of that.
The plot was ok, until it got rushed to the point of chaos. And I don’t know if the writing got better or I was just used to it but I wasn’t as bothered as when I first read it. And what were those timeskips? Bruh.
Me towards the end of the book :

Spectacularly Sinful
As soon as I finished Greed, I got Lust and before Lust was finished I had to get Envy. Here I sit after reading the three books of Antonio and Daniela’s story and I am so happy with how things turned out.
There is so much passion, emotion and raw vulnerability in these books. It’s real and the author is so good at drawing out true emotion in the reader. The scenes when she describes the wolf or demon in Antonio’s eyes have me starry eyed at the skill she exhibits in her writing.
I’m so glad that while they got the happy ending (kids that are so cute and so mini them, not to mention the people they honored with the kids’s names) they’re still them. They didn’t become completely normal or suddenly become different people.
Antonio is forever a Dark Prince with Daniela as his Dirty Princesa, but now they’re also a King and a Queen who’ve figured out what it means to love and be loved, to trust and be trusted and to make changes to their empire all while maintaining integrity and respect.
I originally did Kindle Unlimited but after reading these I bought them. I couldn’t resist. High praise for this phenomenal book and its two predecessors. There’s more I could say and I’d totally gush more but I want to take a look at the next book and maybe read it. It’s on my list and I look forward to seeing what else this author has in store.

This book took me by surprise. I had a meh reaction to this when it started. I struggled to connect with the characters and story. However, the author did suck me into finding the answers. By the time this book started, I was 100% invested. I needed to see these characters get their happily ever after.
I have to say that one of my favorite things about this was how the author handled a delicate situation. I could relate personally on the stigma that is often associated, especially, if years later a person doesn't act like they should(especially sexually). It was refreshing to see that.
This epilogue was perfect. I'm glad that Antonio didn't soften too much and that he stayed true to his character. I'm very ready for Rafael next.

I still don't feel that Antonio is good enough. A lot of what happened could have been avoided if he looked at Daniela as a partner and equal instead of a possession. Though, by the end of the book, he learned that valuable and painful lesson. Daniela is amazing. She's an amazing mother, wife, and friend. She took everything that life, and her past threw at her came out wiser and stronger. She didn't let things break her. She may have bent a bit, but she never broke. Antonio is lucky to have her. I was shocked to figure out the person behind but at the same time, not too shocked. Antonio is an idiot for letting him live just because he was sick 😑 I knew that bitch was a traitor and I'm happy I was right. Again, had Daniela or Antonio acted on their suspicions, all of the drama could have been avoided. I love Rafael, and I can't wait to read his story. He's been through so much.
I have been absolutely loving reading Eva Charles' Sinful Empire trilogy so while I'm sad that it's over I thought that Envy was a perfect end. I think that Envy was the best one yet in the trilogy, Eva was able to wrap it up just perfectly, there weren't any cliffhangers, and she only made me want to see some of the main side characters get their own books.
I was happy that Eva resolved the cliffhanger that she left us with at the end of Greed very quickly. There is nothing worse to me than having to wait for a resolution to a cliffhanger, like why make me wait to see what's going to happen, just get to the point already. I was also happy that one character that was thought to be a traitor was proven innocent, and it was all a set up.
Over the trilogy I have loved reading the growth between Daniela and Antonio's relationships. Their relationship changed so much over the three books and so have they. Daniela has realized that she can trust Antonio and that he is the one for her. And Antonio realized that he doesn't always have to be so hard with her like he was in the first book and he can trust her. I really enjoyed reading this book and series and can't wait to see what Eva writes next.

Envy is the heart-stopping conclusion in the Sinful Empire Trilogy which contains even more sex, violence, and death. Antonio Huntsman and his wife Daniela are in more danger than ever before. People are betraying them and dying right and left and Antonio finds desperate measures to keep the woman he loves safe. But will she forgive him for what he has to do?
Antonio Huntsman is far from a hero and knight in shining armor. He is ruthless, deadly, yet charming and loyal to the people he loves. "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde had nothing on him." As the king of Port valley prepares for his Port harvest party, he scrambles to make his home safe for his family while a relentless and lethal enemy infiltrates his home and his peace of mind.
With all the horrors and devastating losses Daniela has been through, she has fallen for the unmerciful man who was betrothed to her months before by her late father. In his own powerful and unrelenting way he burned down her barriers and strengthened her resilience to the past that could have broken anyone else. She would do anything for this man, even give her life to save his.
I've read all three books in this trilogy and the cunning and broody Antonio finally shows his softer side for Daniela. He's still sexy, possessive, and controlling with his wife, but he finally confesses his feelings and makes loving and heartfelt gestures to prove it. It's good to see Daniela become stronger and more confident in her role as Antonio's queen as she stands her ground and doesn't run away when things get messy. She gives him the support and loves he needs so badly. In addition, Daniela finally reveals her relationship to Valentina which is heartbreaking but done in a mature and beautiful way.
This love story contains a complex network of conspiracy, secrets, betrayal, and risky and volatile twists and turns. Even after three books, the characters' growth is superb as they become more enlightened about each other strengths and emotions. I recommend you read all three books to get the whole engaging and sordid story. See my reviews for Greed and Lust.
Thank you to Ms. Charles for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review.
