This book had my heart beating like it wanted out of my chest!
There is so much action and plotting and love in this book, that when you think you finally have a moment of peace, something blows up. I went through so many emotions while reading this book, I don't even know where to start.
First of all, I don't know how much Antonio can take. I know that this is the final book of the trilogy (Antonio and Daniela's story), but I don't think those 10 years between certain events went without someone being at gunpoint :))) Antonio went through so much in this book, that I thought he was going to go down really hard... If in Lust we saw a little change in his attitude towards Daniela, in this book, he's struggling to not fall. I see it as a battle between Antonio from Greed (or way worse) and Antonio from Lust: a battle between the cold-hearted devil and a little warmed-up devil :)))
One of my favorite scenes is the one where they are held hostage. The raw emotions in that scene and everything that went around it, from Cristiano and Lucas's loyalty and doing everything in their power, to Rafa going into full leader-battle mode. Antonio letting down his walls and exposing his heart in front of Daniela had me screaming at the book. These two went through so much... they had a magnificent journey.
Daniela is a strong woman and sees too much good in other people: Lara for example, who I never liked. In her matter, she should have listened to her gut. But seeing the good in people is what made Antonio so lucky. With that stunt he pulled, he was damn lucky Daniela saw through his bullshit and clung to that sparkle of life and goodness.
I never doubted Cristiano. He's a true soldier, but most importantly, a true friend and a true brother. I think Lucas and Cristiano were Antonio's first line of defense against his darkness before Daniela arrived. Their friendship and loyalty to one another was the link to Antonio's humanity. And their relationship with Daniela is amazing. Exactly like welcoming someone new to the family.
This book is action-packed with steamy scenes, revenge and mystery, and it's a perfect end to their trilogy. We still see them in the next duet, but their story, how it began, and how their souls intertwine is a magnificent one. Since I read Pride and Wrath first, I was curious about the mighty and ruthless Antonio, and oh boy this trilogy delivered. He really is the devil incarnated :))) And those two epilogues are treasures!!!!
My dear, Eva Charles, thank you for creating this amazing series. I read the little inside you left at the end of the book, and Eva, you are a magnificent woman. Thank you for sharing your story with us. I think this series will help a lot of women become the best version of themselves, strong and free, without thinking of being victims, but being survivors and fighters.

What an end to an amazing series. I loved being able to experience Antonio and Aaniela’s journey of healing and falling in love alongside them. They’ve grown so much throughout these three short books that I almost can’t believe its over. In Envy we see just how perfect the two are for each other, supporting each other through and through even when the other doesnt realize they need it. The side characters, most of all Rafael, also added so much to the plot and I can only hope that he gets his own novel.

This trilogy was so good! I loved this tale of Antonio and Danela. It moved along briskly and had me on the edge of my seat.

“I don’t deserve you,” I say humbly. “But I’m never letting you go. I’ll destroy anything that dares come between us.”
The minute I started this trilogy, I was hooked with Daniela & Antonio's story. They were each other's greatest strength. The plot was fantastic and while a few characters were enthralling, the others were despicable and made my skin crawl. The story especially the last part had me on the edge of my seat. The epilogue was really sweet and heartwarming and I just wanted more of the peaceful moments because Antonio & Daniela went through one tragedy after another throughout the entire book. I can definitely say that this entire trilogy was unputdowanable and you'd be in for a thrilling ride!

I read this trilogy back to back and I couldn’t be more in love, the fucking character development for Antonio is UNMATCHED although he definitely stayed true to himself at the same time which I appreciated! I loved the whole plot of this series and find that similar series often seem repetitive and this wasn’t at all. If you haven’t read it yet WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR???

TITLE: Envy
GENRE: Dark Romance
AUTHOR: Eva Charles
TROPE: Mafia, Arranged Marriage, Romantic Suspense
TYPE: Series (A Sinful Empire Trilogy Book 3)
POV: Multiple POV
MY RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5
Envy was easily the best book in the trilogy! If you are someone who enjoyed the first two books in the series, you absolutely need to read this epic conclusion! Full of suspense, twists, spice, and full of emotions. It was raw and unpleasant at times in Antonio & Daniella's relationship, and I felt some of that same angst with some of the other sub-relationships they had with other characters. Antonio lets his Alpha-hole shine through in Envy, but we see he has a heart and some of the reasoning behind his actions. As a couple, Antonio and Daniella are like Ying-Yang to each other with lightness and the dark. I loved Daniella's resilience and her perseverance throughout the whole series. Envy did not disappoint. I am rating this 4 / 5 Stars.
