I stumbled on this trilogy only a couple days ago and devoured it with an insatiable ferocity that has left me in absolute despair and longing for more of Antonio and Daniela, the princesa and the devil of Porto. The last book had me in a whirlwind of emotion—happiness, earth shattering heartache, joy, salaciousness, and so much love for fictional characters. As much as I tried to stretch it out, I just couldn’t put it down. This is a trilogy, I know I will re-read.
Eva Charles is an incredible author and I’m so glad I have stumbled upon her. I can’t wait to make my way through the rest of her books. The plot and the spice are incredible and Eva stays true to her characters even if it means breaking our hearts. Move this trilogy to the front of your TBR.

I waited so long for this book. I even had my calendar marked so I can read it when it came out. The first two books in the series were sooo good but this not so much. I was so disappointed the plot was all over the place and rushed. I found myself being a little confused sometimes about what exactly the characters were trying to accomplish. I loved the characters and the overall story though it's a great concept. I wish this book was captivating like the first two.
