Not quite as dazzling to me as the first Guncle but still a fun read! The tension between Guncle and Gaunt felt a bit tired and steeped in stereotypes. Patrick does finally address this as the loving bickering of brothers and sisters but by that point, I was over it. The Emory love story feels rushed toward the end. Just like the first, this book is full of pop culture/showbiz references that keep me reading. Would love to see the movie.
