Super cute- I was a little wary because I felt the first book would have been a great stand alone . But this book was a nice addition to the story of Macy, Grant, and Patrick. I really enjoyed how it ended,

I was very much team don’t marry. This book lowkey confirmed for me that Greg is annoying - I’m not going to go as far as to say he’s a bad father but like how are you going to marry someone that your kids clearly don’t like or even gotten to know. While Olivia seemed extremely nice, I would expect in any relationship where kids from a previous life are involved that all efforts would be made to ensure a healthy relationship is built with the children first before even getting engaged. Like hello??? So yes, I am glad they didn’t get married in the end even thought they should’ve realized that earlier BUT it all works out because our favorite Guncle Patrick gets to have his happily ever after with Emery— loved how that all came to be for them. Another thing that tugged at my heart was Sara’s letter- definitely made me teary eyed.

I also loved how Patrick mentioned that at some point grief started to feel like love for him. Also I need to try a hot chocolate from France and Italy!!!
