I knew from the beginning that Greg and Livia wouldn't be the ones getting married and that Patrick and Emory would be. I just wasn't sure how that would work out. The European tour Patrick and the kids took was interesting but not as narratively meaningful as their summer in Palm Springs. I did not like that Maisie's outburst at the rehearsal dinner was basically treated as hormonal since she got her period unexpectedly. I'm glad there was a happy ending for all. The last quarter of the book was the best mix of love and loss

Filled with both great life advice and LOL one-liners. I smiled while listening and cried! This book is definitely entertaining.
