Admittedly not for everyone. Almost more of a philosophy book than a sci-fi thriller. But if you love the world of Dune and have read the first 3 books then I highly recommend at least giving this one a try.

But in their place, we're given some of the greatest philosophy put to paper. Sure, the book hesitates to answer most of the questions it asks, I think it's better that way. Rather than giving us the answers, it urges the reader to think for themselves as to what those answers may be.

Update: upped book 1-3 to 4 stars because after book five that's only fair. Since book 4 is now no longer my least favourite in the series...
Probably my least favourite book in the series so far even if I get what it wants to accomplish and discuss. So much so I almost consider upping the first 3 books to a 4 star rating even if they are just 3.5 for me personally. I personally feel the gap is that big between those books and this one. And yes I have a complex relationship with this series!
