This third installment in Katee Robert’s Wicked Villains series focuses on Tink and Hook. Tink is coming up on the end of her contract at The Underworld and has nowhere to go. With Peter actively hunting her, she turns to Hook who protects her in exchange for marriage. It’s pretty similar to the other books- the characters have a hard time opening up and trusting one another beyond their sexual relationship.

Additional content warning for past toxic relationship and domestic abuse.

If you are this far into the series, you probably know it'll be spicy- but if not then here's your warning. I love Tink and Hook as main characters. The love Hook feels for Tink from the beginning is palpable, and I love a good marriage of convenience. Just be warned that there are some potential triggering topics in this book, so check the content warnings to make sure you will feel safe reading this book.

What do you do when the monster from your past comes back with sharp teeth and claws dripping with blood?

You find another monster to slay it, of course.

Tink and Hook have the same monster but there is so much more on the line than just their lives.

This was a wickedly wonderful retelling. And you'll never see a better villainous version of the boy who never grew up.

This touched on domestic abuse and i thought it did well with it. Their chemistry was steamy.

Yes!! No reckless or stupid protagonists in this book! She is strong and smart. Strong, in the face of all that she suffered. She still managed to get back on her feet and give love a chance. It's heartwarming when she changes her outlook on life and sees the people around her differently, and for the better. Love this happy not-happily-ever-after ending.
Also, someone give Edgar a raise! The man suffered enough in the past two days 😂

Wow.

Some of my favorite characters brought to light in a new way. This was the Disney Smut I didn't know I needed in my life. Finally some well written spice!

Katee Robert does a great job exploring BDSM and showing the emotional bonds formed in these relationships. The magic between Captain Hook and Tinkerbell is captivating.

I wouldn't have been mad if it was a smidgen longer to include some more details about things with Peter Pan but the point came across, the plot was there.
