I love her books - I feel Ike I am right there.

I didn’t love this at first, would’ve given it 2 stars, and almost DNFd. I don’t know if it was my mood, or the writing, or the story. There is a lot of chaos in the family and some of it was a bit triggering, so that might be part of it lol!
But by the end, I was actually sad it was over, and glad to find out it’s a series, so I’ll be reading the next one! (Originally I was just looking for any Christmas-y stories to read in December, so I didn’t even know it was a series)

This is the first book by Elin Hilderbrand I've read and I am happy to say that I've found another "comfort" author to add to my list. This book was the perfect quick Christmas read, as I didn't start it until just over a week before Christmas. Hilderbrand's novel contains a nice blend of escapism and realism, just what I look for in these types of novels. I quickly became invested in the Quinn family and found myself disappointed when the novel came to an (abrupt) end, and am eagerly looking forward to reading the next novel in the Winter series next Christmas, as well as reading more from Hilderbrand in the near future.
fast-paced

Loved the book it was a quick read but the ending. Heading to book #2

Cozy. Heartfelt. Warm. Another Elin masterpiece. Perfect for Christmas time.
