I’ve been wanting to read this series for awhile now & I’m so glad I finally have the entire series so I can binge read them 😄. I absolutely adored this book, the story line, the characters I can’t wait to see what happens with the Quinn family next.
This book is probably 2.5 stars. It's a light frothy chick lit story.
My eyes have been opened to the world of Elin Hilderbrand. I will be eating this series UP
This is my second book by Elin and I loved it so much more. I think in large part this is because I now know what to expect from her writing style. Oh, the drama! If I were to try to describe a typical American family these days, I'd be better off just handing them this book.
The family dynamics - particularly with how siblings can grow up in the same environment and be so unbelievably different - is well-written. I enjoy the pace and the intersection between the characters, how one small action effects everyone in a small or big way. On to book two (because, really, with that ending, how can I not)!

Good book. Can't wait for the sequel. Ava is super annoying btw! I wish we had an EH roadmap of books & past characters. They all repeat & come around but it's hard to remember & place them all.
