This book was just okay. I felt it hinted at more secrets than it revealed and I didn't like
the jump to the housekeeper at the end, seemed out of left field.

Honestly this book could have been 100 pages shorter. I was just bored for the first 1/2. Most of the characters are exceedingly unlikable. None of the twists shocked me. Very average book in my opinion.

As a movie lover with an interest in thrillers and mysteries, I was excited by the premise of The Hitchcock Hotel. A group of old friends, distanced by time and secrets, gets locked together in a closed door style mystery. Despite its promise, overall, the novel felt very average to me. Unreliable narrators work for me, but the voice of this one was irksome. I think my personal pref rence for a closed door is one person uncovering information, rather than the multiple POVs in this book.
Honestly, the ending dragged and was really lackluster for me. For a book that references Hitchcock's suspense, we did spend a lot of time in unsatisfying denouement - I didn't feel the karmik justice that was maybe intended

A fun mystery for those who like Hitchcock! It’s also a good page turner and you become really engrossed in the story
