This book didn't start as strong as I thought it would but it picked up pretty quickly and just like that I was hooked.
I particularly enjoy how the story turned out and how the characters unconsciously changed their opinions. Also, I pretty much love the different elements the authors kept adding to the story and how the reader gets to read and understand the different reasons these three girls have to seek revenge.
It was so fast-paced and extremely entertaining! I can't wait to read the second one =)

this was a waste of time but it was 3 bucks at the thrift store so idc
I was a little disappointed with this book. I had higher expectation due to the anticipation of a Jenny Han book.
Most of the book frustrated me with pointless and unnecessary revenge. Although Lillian her moments of likability, Kat and Mary fustrated me. This is the first time I genuinely liked the popular group. I want to see where this plot like goes and how it can continue for two other novels but I am reluctant.

this book was so mad lol. I loved it, it was really really addictive (a bit like junk food) but it wasn't the most ground breaking book of 2015. I still really enjoyed it though!!

I really enjoyed the storyline and pacing. I think we all like a good revenge book sometimes. Burn for Burn certainly delivers.
The book ends with the intent to pick up book 2. This story seems like it's far from over.

First contemporary read in a while. Super quick and quite addicting. Definitely darker than most contemporaries.
This book pleasantly surprised me. I thought it would be a light, fun read. But the girls had hidden depths, although it felt more like Kat's book, despite the pov being all the girls. I was surprised how little Lillia held Rennie responsible for the trauma that befell her at the party they went to. Mary's back story was particularly heart wrenching. I enjoyed the revenge aspect of the story, because it shows the price we pay when we set out to right a wrong. There's a saying that when you look into the abyss you should take care because it looks back at you too. Can't wait for the sequel. so glad I picked it up at BEA.
