This was a really interesting read having been very familiar with the series. I love how the shifted POV was used to fill in so many details. It was great to get more insight into the characters and how vampire life worked.

Eh. The dialogue of the characters fall flat. I rolled my eyes one too many times and gave up. And this is coming from a Twihard.

i may be biased since i’ve been team edward since 08, but finally getting things from his perspective is something i never knew i needed. seeing that he’s not this cold hard thing but actually a soft and sweet romantic is not at all what i was expecting but i love it. mama meyer needs to redo the whole series in his pov

I RECOMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE!!!Oh my goodness!!! This book is amazing. I absolutely loved it! I am currently praying that Stephanie Meyer comes out with 3 more books, all in Edwards POV of course. This book was even more interesting than the og because it felt like it was from multiple POV’s since Edward can read peoples minds. It made me really sad at the end because he knew, even months before, that he was going to leave Bella, and that truly broke my heart because I know what comes next.

I was worried this book would be repetitive… and it was.

Same plot as twilight but Edwards POV and obviously he thinks too much about everything so it’s double as long and double as boring and I really didn’t enjoy it. Multiple times I wished I could DNF it gets this rating because it is still the plot that I found kind of interesting in twilight so if I didn’t read it so close I might have found it more interesting. I really don’t know I think it was too dragged out and Edward thinks about the same things over and over.
