This was a super cute book that had me laughing throughout. My first read from this author, I really liked her sense of humor and enjoyed the journey of self discovery she took our heroine through in this book. Being a divorced single mom I could relate to much of the same experiences and struggles Hannah goes through. She kind of has to remember who she is and fall in love with herself again before falling in love with someone else (Logan) as well as clear up some unresolved feelings about her ex and his new lady. I feel like the author did this in a really honest and straightforward way and I really liked that about this book. I loved these characters flaws and all and I think most people will feel the same. And the flu part! I was laughing out loud and cringing for them through the whole thing as I'm sure anyone would who has experienced all the wonders of having the flu, and double that when you experience all those things in front of a new partner, you kind of have to just laugh or you'll cry. It was a great book and I look forward to reading more of this author's work!

This book started really good. I was smiling while reading it. Lots of swoon and laugh worthy moments in the book. I also kind of connected with the female MC. This was also one of my most aniticipated rom com books in my TBR for the year.

But towards the 2/3 to 3/3 part of the book, things got ridiculous. The premise of the "man flu" intrigued me but when it got to that part, I was shaking my head. It was silly and the use of this element in the book was not good.

Also, I find Logan's dilemma a bit shallow. I know, I know, it's a serious matter but something in the book made me think that it's a shallow dilemma.

I will still give this author a try and read the other books in the series.

Another entertaining easy read in this series. I’m all for a recently divorced Mom getting a new chance at love. I liked Logan’s character a lot and young kids are always fun to read. We had some good lines from Cora

I loved reading this book. I liked the humor and the story never got dull and made me want to stop reading. I especially love the ending! It was what was needed in this book. I'm a little confused about the time line in this book; if I read correctly it all takes place in a week. I also didn't care for how self depreciating the heroine was. I understand being cheated on takes something out of you, but I feel like she was that way before her divorce. However overlooking that I would still recommend the book to others.
