I enjoyed this book--I liked the zany family of supporting characters, especially. This reminds me of Nora Roberts--good sold romance, good characters, good writing. Nothing super spectacular, but in saying that I really enjoyed it, kind of like lazily laying in a boat while the waves gently bob you up and down, rather than surfing a monster wave.
I stumbled upon this book in the top free iBooks (which I go through at least once a month) and suggested it to a couple of friends. After my best friend read it and gave it 4 stars I moved it up along my to-read list. I’ve found really good books in this list, Exclusively Yours being one of them.
As a general comment, it really rubs me the wrong way when people rant about a free book. When someone invests God knows how many hours thinking of a story, putting it in words, trying to make it good and then plain out giving out, people should just say thank you or give constructive criticism instead of being mean.
That said, I have complained about books having good material but being too short and rushing through the plot, sometimes going straight to the sex parts, or being nice but totally unrealistic because people just don ‘t fall in love in a day, or wanting to categorize books with 5 hour lovemaking sessions as sci-fi.
I’m not going to complain about any of that with this book, because I really, really liked it. It’s a fast easy read, full of fun situations, good banter and romance, totally real situations with which you can relate to and of course a happily ever after.
I could have complained about it being too short, because I wanted more, but then I found out there’s an entire Kowalski Family worth of books to read. So kudos and 5 stars to Shannon Stacey and Exclusively yours!

I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I found myself laughing, my heart breaking and a few times wanted to slap them silly. The characters came alive and was a romantic comedy made for film. The only things it did not have were the last moments of dialogue with Tina and maybe an epilogue. I would have liked a peek into their future. Overall, I really enjoyed this one.
I'm a read and return kind of girl, I must be my library's best customer. Which is why, when I say that this book is totally worth the bucks I paid for it (ok, kindle edition, you caught me), you know I liked it.
After reading the blurb on goodreads, I thought I knew what I was getting into with Exclusively Yours. Short, fast, easy and formulaic - something to pass the time. Whoo, boy, was I wrong! As much as I enjoy [a:Susan Mallery|8716|Susan Mallery|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1375881491p2/8716.jpg] Fool's Gold or the next thing by [a:Kristan Higgins|317354|Kristan Higgins|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1266141926p2/317354.jpg], nothing has come close to how much I enjoyed this book since I was a kid, deliciously paging through a new book in secret. The thrill and illicit joy came rushing back; I'd forgotten what it felt like.
I'm not sure if I can explain why I loved reading about Joe and Keri, and the rest of the Kowalskis, so much without revealing (and boring you all with) my own little delirious dreams for happy families and love and real - not story-book - happy endings. All I know is that I couldn't wait to come on to goodreads and finally put a five star down for something that really hit me emotionally.
And the writing! Stacey used the phrase "you've got another think coming" correctly! She stole my grammar-girl heart with that one =)

I absolutely loved this book!! All the characters were great. Loved, Loved Joe. I highly recommend reading this one, well worth your time. I don't know why I waited so long to start this series. It had humor which I love plus it had it's moments where it pulled at your heart.
If I could find more contemporary romances like this, I'd die a happy bookworm. The characters were well-developed, even those with small parts, and the subplot packed a solid emotional punch. Nothing felt like filler material, there were no cheesy "suspense" threads to the story (no random creepy ex's) and the humor kept me chuckling.
Really the only complaint I had was with the treatment of the heroine's ambition and desire to succeed in her career. Her reasoning for the choices she made years ago were valid, even wise, and it irked me that nobody seemed to get that fact *EVER* - even the man who loves her barely clues in.
Still, overall, an entertaining and delightful romance, great characters, and I look forward to reading it again someday.
