This was such an adorable book. I easily read it in one go. I loved it, and would easily read it again! I can't wait for Choupette's Journals! She's one, if not, the most sassy and glamorous cat out there and I could read and look at pictures of her all day.

The reason though why I'm giving it 4 stars rather than the 5 is because there really should've been more pictures of the photogenic cat instead of so many recipes.

All in all, is recommend this for any other fellow fashion and cat lovers :)

Karl Lagerfeld's Birman BFF is incredibly photogenic, so I can't understand why this book devotes almost a third of its pages to overly detailed recipes of dishes created for Choupette by her personal chef, Patrice (who also cooks for her owner), as well as other famed restaurateurs. There are also too many pages of KL dresses in various shades of blue "inspired" by Choupette's eyes. There are several photos of other famous people's cats, which is fine (I'd thought Dorothy Parker was a dog person!)but only one photo-page of Choupette's custom-made luggage, which is unforgivable (it features separate compartments for silver food & water dishes, grooming brushes, and a fresh litter bag). I didn't expect (or want, really) anything more from this book than pictures of Choupette, so I'm a bit disppointed there were not more pictures of Choupette. Especially since there cannot possibly *be* enough pictures of Choupette, she is exquisite.
