In the Forest highlights an assortment of animals who live in the forest. The text is a four line sentence that rhymes for each animals. The animals are graphically created. I liked that it shared a lot of different animals, but I would have preferred photographs. For my young listeners at storytime, I skipped over some of the pages so the book would be faster. I talked about squirrel, fox, badger, deer, owl, and bear.
