7 hours of my life I will never get back. I kept waiting for the payoff but it never came. Even the "big reveal" was incredibly anticlimactic, and too many questions were left unanswered. Also, I'm realizing that I don't like this "college friends reuniting" trope at all

What even is this book? It’s sold as a mystery, but it’s barely one, if at all. It’s also got some paranormal elements, but it’s not really that either. This book doesn’t know what it is, and you’re left wishing you had those hours back to read something coherent and interesting instead.
