Although this shows a very deep understanding of gender I personally would have loved to see a conclusion that shows that they’ve come to terms with their understanding? It left me slightly confused what the purpose of the book was, but as a non binary person I do see and love the representation I haven’t really seen anywhere else, especially neopronouns <3

Maia Kobabe is such an incredible talent, this story brims with so much heart and care. It breaks my heart that in many states people will not be able to find this at their schools and libraries.
