I can’t believe I waited this long to meet one of my ultimate book boyfriends, Kingfisher!

This story was an absolute ride from start to finish. The worldbuilding is rich, the plot twists are chef’s kiss, and the emotional highs? Off the charts. The moment I finished, I wanted to flip right back to page one and live in this world all over again.

November can't come soon enough for book two—I need more of these characters, more of this chaos, and definitely more of him.

I would have rated this 5 if the beginning wasn’t so slow. Yes you needed to build up the plot but for some reason I wasn’t relating to them in the beginning. I.AM.SOOOOO. HAPPY.I. DID. NOT DNF this book. After she fight with Harron, Madra 1st Commander, it picked up. It picked up SO FAST that you needed a seatbelt. There was so many twist and turns especially the last 200 pages of the book. All I wanted to do was read. Can’t wait for the next book because holly shiz!!!!

There is war against vampire zombies so many things could be triggering for people. Also if looking for a romance with a warrior that saved your life then not really that kind of love story. This is raw & rough kind of love.

This book got me back into reading again!
Although it's pretty chunky and intimidating, it is a relatively easy read that sucked me in. I finished it in 2 days and I can't wait for the next book!
