Lyra is told she is an African princess and while she believes it at first, children are school yeast her about it and she begins to question it. She goes on a trip with her family to visit her family in Africa to find out about her heritage. The illustrations are lovely and the story idea is nice however I didn’t feel it developed very much and was a bit simple. There could have been more description about how Lyra was a princess and the story that goes with this.
