THIS WAS SO GOOD IM CRYING!! I'm so glad I saw an aesthetic for this book on twitter and read it because it was everything I wanted and more. I haven't heard anything about it before but now I want to make everyone read this! The characters and their relationships were just so fresh and real. I felt everyone's connection and was so sad when it ended because I wanted to read about them forever. I love books that include little kids and the little kid in this book was everything to me. Little Rinny and Age have my heart. I love Gage so much. He is up their with all of my boyfriends and I'm upset I don't hear more people talking about this book. Just read it. If you want a dumb loveable jock and his scared tough baby mama you've found the book. There isn't any unnecessary break up at the end and you get to see the couple really come together and fall in love. I just loved it.
A fun read, but not LOL funny. The level of immaturity of the H was a bit irritating, but he was a good guy and you couldn't help liking him.

Wow. This book was beyond sweet, I almost reactivated my sweet tooth (although, I can assure you it hasn't left, my stash is hidden in the back of the cupboard ;)
I love me a good sports romance story, and this did seriously not disappoint. Massive prompts goes out to the author, because this story is definitely a highlight of 2019 (yes, I am aware this was release in 2018, I'm ashamed I haven't discovered it until now!)
Initially, I thought how can the Hero be such an immature, unserious character -- but it grew on me and as did Gage Nix **sigh**. I had soo many laugh out loud moments, I had to tell myself to stop smiling like a loon.
I loved him winning over Katie slowly but surely. I loved the moments he shared with Granny. I loved his relationship with Coby and Ellie. I especially loved his relationship with Corinne -- even the coldest of hearts would melt at those two relationship.
I loved every element about this book, even the drama (although, I wish after the first issue thrown at us, Katie would have trust Gage more seeing as he was understanding, which would have the other issues insignificant).
I enjoyed every second of this journey and the "Home Run King" will always hold a special place in my heart.

I really enjoyed this love story. I especially loved Gage’s personality and humor. His relationship with Corrine (Ellie and Coby’s toddler daughter) was the most adorable thing I’ve ever read.
