Why was this the most romantic Sarah Dessen boy ever? I’m jealous. I also literally gasped when I finally realised Jason was Brain Camp Jason. Library Jason. Not so douchebag Jason anymore - still kinda confused why he’s a cook now. But I liked it.

Every time I think I can't love Sarah Dessen more I pick up another of her novels and get completely swept away by the wonderful world she creates yet again. This novel was no exception. McLean is a girl who reinvents herself each time she and her father, a restaurant rehabber, move to a new town. This is a great coming of age story about a girl who finds herself after thinking that she's lost everything with her parent's divorce. I loved the characters, and it is so easy to get sucked into their lives and to genuinely want things to be resolved in the best way possible.
eh. Not my normal read. Story about a high school senior's identity crisis stemming from a divorce and lots of moves involving new high schools. Could easily be shelved under YA, but I don't know since a friend handed this to me. Sweet, predicable, easy read. Good vacation type book.
I bought this book solely on the basis of Sarah Dessen's engaging and charming Twitter feed. (Score one for social media!). Although I don't usually go for YA, I did find this to be a fun, light read that ultimately is about family. A fun read- I will probably read more of hers.

I loved seeing the McLean develop and grow her desire to be herself. There were so many emotions in this book, but in a good way. I loved how the focus just wasn’t romance. It had different elements and layers to it. It was a happy read.
This book tells the story of McLean and Dave. Through a community project we get a glimpse of their relationship and the struggles that McLean has dealt with.
I don't know if I can say that my favorite Sarah Dessen book has changed, but I definitely loved a little twist of change in the way she wrote this one. I have to say It's still up there on the list!
