So it's only 3 stars because, I didn't like too much): Don't get me wrong I'm a very huge Sarah Dessen fan. This book was mostly about finding yourself. But the description was about falling in love and all that. Surer there was some love, but not that much. It was still good, just not my favorite.

Sarah Dessen does it again. Seriously I'm making it an immediate goal to read every one of her books and then to make sure that my daughter reads them too.
Who doesn't love a love story that isn't just about falling in love but love in general. Family love, friendship love, first love. All my favorites.

Something I really love about this book, all of Sarah Dessen books, are that they really focus on things other than relationships. Granted there's usually a relationship in the book, but that isn't the main point which I think is awesome.

Sad to say, my least favorite Sarah Dessen book so far. The story felt subdued - not that dramatic or intense - and the main character's relationships weren't as deeply developed as they usually are in Sarah Dessen's books. I still enjoyed it, but it wasn't as vivid as her other books.

Really good, typical Sarah Dessen stuff - but lacking a piece of action somewhere about three-quarters through the book [there is something, but it's not enough]. I like my young adult fiction with a huge helping of tension and drama. And as far as male characters go, this one doesn't live up.

Sarah Dessen has always been one of my favorite authors and What Happened To Goodbye only reinforced my love of her books. It’s another feel-good chick-lit story that I couldn’t help but enjoy.

Mclean Sweet has lived in four towns in two years. She knows wherever they go she won’t stay long so she doesn’t make connections. She creates a new persona for each town but in Lakeview, things change. Mclean finally starts to be herself again and make friends but will it last? What happens when the next move comes?

Mclean Sweet is a typical Dessen character. She has her fair share of problems and a lot of them have to do with her messed up family. Dave enters the picture and he just makes things more complicated. He was adorable in his own nerdy way. He was the perfect guy. Oh and Dessen does throw in a character from her previous books but I won’t go into detail about that.

The story was great. This is one Dessen book that actually dealt more with family issues than romance but I liked it. It was really well balanced and I liked reading it.

Overall, What Happened To Goodbye is a must-read for Dessen fans and if you haven’t read any of her books yet, check one out!

I usually love to read science-fiction and action books and so the time had come for me to add a little variety and switch genre's for one read. That is when I turned to What Happened to Goodbye? by Sarah Dessen which is one of those books that may not be so action-packed but is still wonderful all the same.

Every time McLean moves she adopts a new persona. This is her fourth move in less than two years, but this time maybe she'll try to be Mclean again if only she herself could figure out what that means.

Not my favorite Dessen, as I found the overall story arc to be a bit bland. Mclean has struggles and she handles them nicely and fairly neatly, which lends to the lack of excitement.

Really good, Sara Dessen never fails to impress. Full review on blog soon.

Sarah Dessen's books never fail to amaze me. So excited to get my copy of The Moon And More.
