The best sequel to a story I’ve ever read!! It hurt and healed me over and over and had the sweetest ending that wasn’t just a sappy cliche. I absolutely love Ilya and Shane and if the author ever writes more about them I will absolutely devour it!

reading this book felt like frolicking through a sun-soaked field filled with daisies and butterflies and fairies. pure and utter bliss. i read it so fast i never even had a chance to mark it as "currently reading."
established relationship stories have always been my favorite, and i was beyond impressed with what rachel reid did here. the themes, the imagery, the characterization - everything was so on point. we NEED more romance sequels like this. i am going hold shane and ilya in my heart forever.

It was lovely to see Shane and Ilya back again especially more settled than their previous book left them. I truly adored 90% of this story and the character development but the one thing that caused me to take off one star was a pretty significant plot plot related to their coming out. I was really hoping that it wouldn’t go the forced outing angle. Besides that minor hiccup, it was great to see Ilya and Shane develop as people, hockey players, and a couple and I love them more than when they were introduced.
