Stolen is about Gilpin's time as a victim of the troubled teen industry. Sent first to a camp and then to a boarding school, she recounts her time in each. One is based on Synanon a cult focused on drug rehab. This is a harrowing story of the difficult time Gilpin endured while suffering psychological and some physical abuse at the hands of those her parents were convinced were helping her. This is a sad one, that also pissed me off.
