I don't think the storyline is well written. It's mostly just super horny smut. Which is nice, but it kinda never stops. And it's pretty unrealistic.
Like she and Greg literally kissed MINUTS after she broke up with Preston. And her mother is so fine with the relationship in the end like wtf my mom would not support that in any way.
But because they mentioned "Top Gun" i gave it an extra star.

Honestly, I enjoyed this story way more than I expected. Although the first few chapters made me cringe several times and I had to get adapted to the age difference, its importance faded within the following chapters. Some things were too foreseeable, but I really liked the ending and the scenes in a hospital made me realise how much I miss being an intern in a hospital.
A+ for the steamy scenes in this book :‘)  I wonder if Cassidy would have developed those feelings if her dad had been around though (Daddy issues?).

I was initially interested in this book as I learned that the plot contained topics that I've never read about before. But, I was quickly disappointed when I started to read.

First off, his name is Greg... (There is absolutely nothing wrong with it but it threw me off, sorry maybe I'm being too critical, it's minor though). Another thing is how a majority of the plot was incredibly predictable. Nothing really moved the story forward except for major events (if you're a fan of detailed slow burn this is not the book for you). Greg and Cassidy had no romantic buildup. They slept with each other a few times and suddenly decided to put a label on the relationship. Although we know that they have known each other for a number of years through Preston, there was no lead up to actual romance. But, how did Cassidy's mom seem so casual about her being in love with Greg? How is she not reacting to her 20 year old daughter being in a relationship with a man twice her age?

However, the bedroom scenes were well written and didn't make the parts seem uncomfortable. I also have to say, Preston's character development was nice.

Overall, this book was okay but I would not recommend it.

it was a good read but failed in the plot aspect. there was no development of characters, just sexual content.
if you're looking for just smut, this is the book for you!
