Definitely far better than the first. It might even be a little higher if the words male and female weren’t used 842 times. I was about to throw the book if I had to read them one more time. 😭😭😭

Not sure what to say about this one that hasn’t already been said.
I wasn’t a huge fan of Feyre in acotar, but I loved her growth in this book. I felt her pain in the beginning, coming off of what happened at the end of book 1. SJM did a great job putting us in her mind. Her writing was so poetic at times… I highlighted the heck out of this book.

And then of course.. Rhys. I mean. 😝🥰

But I also loved the rest of the inner circle, which included a couple people I’ve never heard of. And Velaris 😍

I really never thought I’d enjoy these books, and I’ve never been happier to be proven wrong.
