I thought this one was great. The way Hornby writes like people really think, or talk - I just think it's cool. Read it!

I’m mad I made myself finish this. It got worse as it kept going and I didn’t learn anything profound about anything.

Not one of my favorites. Like the characters, the book lacks drive. However, it is worth reading for the character of Maurene alone: she is genuine, sweet, innocent, and very sad. You chuckle at her thought-process, but you are touched by her loneliness.

A little long and drawn out. I wanted to push them all off the roof at various times while reading it!
