Book 33 of 2025 was Our Infinite Fates by Laura Steven. My friends told me how good this one was so I put it on hold on my Libby app. It’s about 2 souls reincarnate in multiple lives and in each one they fall in love and then they have to kill each other before their 18th birthday. I thought that it was very interesting the way Laura explains souls and how she has the characters find each other in each life. I also like that this is something I have never read, it’s not similar to other books I have read when I needed something different. It’s also labeled as romance but it’s not like the usual romance books that I normally read. Only complaint I have is that it didn’t keep me interested in all the lives that the souls live. Sometimes I felt like there was information we really didn’t need in the story and I felt like it slowed it down. I rate this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 stars.
I loved this!!! The eternal love between these two characters was so beautiful!!! 😍

"I love you, I have loved you, and I will love you."
When I heard this book described as The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue meets This Is How You Lose the Time War, I knew I needed to read it!
I rated Our Infinite Fates by Laura Steven as 4.75 stars. This book is a dazzling adventure through time and space that hooked me from page one and never let me go. It's equal parts smart, heartfelt, and wildly imaginative - a "choose-your-own destiny" type story dialed up to eleven. While the premise and some tropes may be familiar to some readers, I felt that Steven put just enough of a twist on it that it felt fresh and new.
The author masterfully juggles timelines and possibilities, weaving in humor, heartbreak, yearning, and hope in a way that feels both deeply personal and refreshingly original. The themes of identity, agency, and what it means to shape your own story are executed with nuance and sincerity. Plus, her writing is razor-sharp. Each character is written and delivers clever turns of phrase and emotional gut-punches (looking at you, Gracie!!) that lend an air of excitement and some levity to an otherwise heavy book.
As I read this book, I laughed, cried, questioned, hoped, despaired and more. The range of emotions Steven was able to pull from me had me feeling like I was on a roller coaster ride along with the two main characters, Evelyn and Arden. This book was definitely a ride - one I'd happily take all over again. The twists, turns, and revelations that are sprinkled throughout the book were placed perfectly, executed well, and kept me wanting more.
If you are into books that break the mold and challenge you to think while still delivering an unforgettable story, this one is for you.
