For fans of The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab and Orlando by Virginia Woolf this phenomenal YA romantasy blew me away. An absolutely brilliant example of a new and refreshing narrative that sounds out in this genre. It was dark and complex and mysterious and from 80% onwards I was on the edge of my seat. No spoilers, it has to be read!

I was ready to rate this book 4 stars but those last two chapters!!!!

What a story! I enjoyed getting to know the characters and finding out their origins little by little. It was a lot more gratifying when you reached the end and tied it all together.
