Such a fun and magnificent read! My new favorite book by T.Kingfisher! It was such a joy, filled with excitement,(relatable) awkwardness, and the perfect amount of love. I would compare their work to Terry Pratchett and how lovely and silly it all gets while still being rather serious when needed

A beautiful retelling of The Snow Queen that makes the most of the rambly source material and injects it with fresh new perspective. I did find the pace a little slow but I loved the characters very much. So glad I finally read this.
