What a ride! I’ve determined this is my favorite book in the series! Kept my attention the entire time, I didn’t want to put it down! Pip needs so much therapy! She is such a complicated character, I would love to see where she is in ten, maybe twenty years. This series speaks volumes to how screwed up our legal system is. Although I just learned this doesn’t take place in America (I must be very dumb). The ending hit me right in the heart with the text message. I also would have loved to know Pips reaction to the verdict as well as Ravis. Also their reunion. But I did like the open ending!

this book is by far my favourite of the series with agggtm being a very close second! the detail is incredible. there are many twists and turns however i was able to predict one of the main parts in it, which tbh made me find it even more enjoyable like i was solving the crime along with pip! over all i would 100% recommend this book!!!
(PS, i read the english version of the book as opposed to the us version but it’s most likely the same)

Oh, it was going so well until about halfway through…

After her last investigation, Pip is left reeling, haunted by the events that occurred. And to make matters worse, she’s begun noticing strange things… Anonymous messages, dead pigeons on her driveway, creepy stick figures graffitied on her home. When the threats escalate to terrifying heights, and the police refuse to act, Pip must take action - find her stalker, or become his next victim.

I absolutely loved the first two books in this series, and for the first half of this book, it was no different. However, when I reached Part 2 of the book, it all kind of went to shit…

For Part 1 of this book, I’d easily give it five stars! I really enjoyed how it was going, and even though I guessed the DT Killer beforehand, I found that I couldn’t put the book down. I liked that Pip’s trauma from the previous book was also a main focus point.

As for Part 2, I wanted to give it one star… it infuriated me so much! I won’t go into too much detail because of spoilers but it kind of went downhill after Pip picked up the hammer - if you know you know. Firstly, I can’t believe how easily everyone went along with Pip’s plan. Secondly, there was plenty of evidence to corroborate Pip’s story had she just told the police the truth. Thirdly, while Max deserved to serve time for his numerous rape charges, in the end, Pip kind of turned him into a victim, framing him for a murder he didn’t commit… Fourthly, the cover up was just all kinds of ridiculous.
Fifthly, how did no one notice the state Pip was in? I know she put makeup on and tied her hair up but she literally ripped duct tape from her entire face and head, it would’ve left her with a lot of superficial trauma to the area!!

Finally, Pip was already traumatised by the events of the previous book, but now she’s been kidnapped, held hostage and almost murdered by a serial killer, can’t tell anyone because she’d go to prison (including a therapist because that is honestly what that poor girl needs), and we’re just expected to accept that she’s absolutely fine, not traumatised anymore, even in the midst of pushing everyone she loves away?!?!

I’ve literally just finished this book and I had to write my review immediately because I’m honestly struggling to comprehend the events of this book… Overall, Part 1 was brilliant, but Part 2… I have run out of words…

I was so stressed for the entierty of this Book, I never wanted to put it down. It was so well crafted, I really loved it. So sad, I have reached the end of this trilogy, Pip and Ravi have my whole heart ! I Love Holly Jackson's writing, I can't wait to ready her other Books!!

This book will stay with me for the rest of my life. In the best way possible. The twists and turns. These characters are some of the best I've read. The way all three of the books were woven together at the end was immaculate. And the ending killed me, also in the best way possible.
