I wasn't expecting the book to take this turn.
Yeah, guessing the DT Killer was so easy after the mention of Green Scene Company but what happened in Part 2 was just crazy. I really enjoyed the twist and the book actually came full circle.

Can I get some more now, please?

Pip and Ravis is so ENTJ x ENFP couple coded!

Anyway, nothing much to say other than i'll be reading all of HoJay's books now, because i like her writing style and the way she wrote these characters, the plots etc. I havent finished the novella yet, but for this trilogy alone, it's a solid 4.5⭐️ trilogy for me, there were good and bad moments, but the goods outweigh the rest, and i can see myself rereading this series whenever i miss team Pippa and Ravi. I need to get the audiobooks, i just know i would love them, but theyre kinda expensive because of the full cast for the characters! I heard good things about them though, so i'll get them when i reread them in the future.

Ravi is officially my #1 book boyfriend 🫶, and i really love Pip ☺️. Pip's up there with Lana Myers as my fav xNTJ FMCs, and Ravi as my fav ENFP MMCs! My xNTJ x ENFP Kins frfr. I love pip's family and friends very much, so i hope the show do them right. Cant wait to watch it this summer of 2024!
Note: Finally finished the series after putting the second book on hold for two years, and the third for two months. I just never want to part with PipRavi 🫠🥹 and now i'm done, i miss them already 😔

Book 77 of 2024: As Good As Dead - Holly Jackson

Pip is traumatised by the end of her last investigation, so now she needs one more case, one more chance to save herself. Following her online success with the Andie Bell case and the Jamie Reynolds case, Pip starts to receive threatening messages - so who would look for Pip if she disappeared?

Review:
⭐️4/5

This book was a lot darker than the first two, Pip had definitely changed as a character following the trauma she experienced and I wish we’d seen more of a resolution/treatment plan to that by the end of the book. The first part of the book was everything I loved from the first two, a mystery to solve and clues to uncover against a deadline. The second part of the book went incredibly off-piste and was very different from what I had expected from the story. In some ways it was an interesting twist and enjoyable to sink your teeth into, but I did miss that element of mystery.

My least favorite of the trilogy. A bit disappointing.
