I thoroughly enjoyed this mixture of historical fact and fiction! The story follows the incredible authors Dorothy Sayers and and Agatha Christie as they participate in the real life Detection Club and solve a real world murder. The authors note explains what was fictionalized and what was true and I thoroughly appreciated the attention to detail! If you like historical fiction and crime novels then this is a perfect blend!

I REALLY enjoyed this book! It was fun, it was interesting, it likely came close to really depicting each of the women authors that lead the cast of the book. Depictions of their clothes, their style, their repartee were each engaging and brought these authors to life.
