Excellent
Great read. Gulped it down in one fast read, and enjoyed every second of that. Brilliant end to an excellent space opera.

The series wraps up nicely, lots of action. There will be more adventures in this universe, and I'm curious to see where she takes these characters.
Fun! I enjoyed the adventure, but had to willfully not to think too hard in spots.
I have a similar criticism with this book as the 3rd Hunger Games book. The action is great, but the motivations kind of don't make any sense. The emotional reactions / breakdowns are kind of repetitive. The foreshadowing was heavy handed.

Also, for someone who prides herself in reading people. Turns out, Hail is kinda shitty at reading people.
Last book of the Indranan War trilogy.
What a fun, fun series. Love the characters, lots of action, exotic world-building, with palace intrigue and political brinksmanship.
Looking forward to the new books she's writing. Bring the gunrunner back!

This book, actually this series is PHENOMENAL. I listened to all 3 in audiobook format and I feel it really created a necessary extra dimension that brought the diversity of characters to life. I picked it up because this is the first science fiction novel I've ever seen that features not only a matriarchal society but a Hindu(ish) one at that! It was like I wrote the damn thing. Realistic world building, clever politics, twists that are believable but still shock you, and a heroine that makes a damn fine Empress despite all her protests.
10 Stars
An EPIC conclusion to this thrilling series. Wall-to-wall reading, I HAD to know what was going to happen next, and was grateful for a day in bed after a bit of heat stroke.
I was elated to discover that the story did not end with this, as I cannot get enough of this author's incredibly talented writing!

Great end to the series. Some of the writing was a little repetitive, but I enjoyed how the plot points were wrapped up :)

A very melancholy ending to the Indranan War series
but overall a pretty good book. I find this author's
space battle creativity a bit weak, but she does
know how to do character development and
planet-side conflict. And as I mentioned in my
comments for the previous books in this series,
it is a bit tiresome how often everyone tries to
mollycoddle the main character and how she in
turn does it back to them. Otherwise, this book
and the whole series are recommended.
Now on to the Farian War saga (another 3-book
series by the same author in the same universe).
