This book is absolutely incredible. The author has a eloquent way of giving an incredible amount of detail that allows the reader to take in every word. If you are even considering reading the book, do it. The audiobook is read by author Patrick Radden Keefe which I definitely recommend.

Why the Sackler’s are the way they are (the people who created/marketed/pushed Oxy).

Well written and mostly interesting. It can drag a bit in some places and a few storylines just kind of flame out with no resolution, so why bother telling it?

I haven't felt this angry reading every page of a book in a very long time. The greed. The lack of empathy. The refusal to hold themselves accountable for anything. The sense of victimhood. This freaking family!
