to be honest, i didn't liked Alex most of the time, but Daisy is the purest soul i've ever read and she deserved her happy ending. also, i cried a lot so yeah...

I kind of forgot how obsessed white female writers were with Alpha males back in the day (they still are but

5 stars

this was my 4th SEP book and by far my fav, the first 3 were from the Chicago Stars series, and they were fun, solid reads, there was just a lil sth missing/not quite there, but my god did Kiss an Angel deliver that extra spark I've been missing

I LOVED Daisy, Alex, her bond with the animals, esp with sinjay & tater, the circus setting was gonna be a toss up, but I'm happy to report I really enjoyed it, the side characters were serving, Kiss an Angel was, to put it simply 👨‍🍳💋

think I found my April fav

I just finished it, but I'm already looking forward to the next time I'll be reading it

Dnf at around chapter 5 (around 21%).
Kiss an Angel is recommended a lot when I look for arranged marriage trope reads but this one just didn't work for me. I hate the dynamic and the setting is not a favorite too. Also the very condescending attitude of the H is so bothersome, and I don't know how to feel about the h either.

NEW FAVORITE BOOK OF ALL TIME!!!!(not exaggerating)

Yes,
There were parts of the book that bothered me. But I am starting to learn how to be more lenient with book characters that I’ve grown accustomed to being perfect. I don’t think any of the characters in this book was perfect at all. AND I LOVED IT. I loved every second I spent in Quest Brothers Circus with Daisy, Alex, Shiba, Tater, Heather and many more. It gave me a feeling of belonging like no other book has. It made me feel like I was a part of the performing circus family, like I was gonna get married in the circus, grow old in the circus with all these people around me that come together for six months a year. I cried with the character and I stared at my book with a peaceful smile at time, I sometimes got so frustrated that I wanted to chuck my book across the room(though no book was harmed in this process). I don’t have it in me to write everything in detail, but I just know that this is the type of romance book that I will keep in my shelves and re-read until I die. I hope you guys can give it a chance too…
