this book was actually insane Oh my God
i read it because I plan on watching the movie / show this weekend with my friend, and I was not expecting anything I read in this book.

After I saw the first season of the 2023 Netflix animation "Scott Pilgrim Takes Off" I wanted to get into the original black and white material. And it's so fun! There is a direct reference to Amazon.ca, which is hilarious. Also, I loved the tea scene. Great sense of humour, with Canadian references and funny dialogues. Will continue reading.

This is pretty good. It's very fun and campy almost. It's a good first book for the series. It's pretty fucking creepy that Scott a 23 year old is even slightly dating a 17 year old but okay. Also he cheats on her?? I love the art, it's very cool and this book is pretty iconic.
