Despite numerous cameos from the Shadowhunters universe, I wasn't excited by this story. It was alright, like the previous two stories. I enjoyed seeing everyone and liked the twist to the Jack The Ripper story, but the plot wasn't exciting.

This is my favorite novella out of the ten so far. I love how both Tessa and Jace were in it.
I really loved how Will and the other ones at the London Institute were in it too. I didn't realize how much I missed those characters until I read this novella. I'm loving reading about Simon and how he's getting stronger but still struggling too. Now onto the next!

It was so nice to be with Tessa, Jem and Will again <3 I also loved Jace and Simons little interactions. I've missed being around these people. 100% rereading TMI before I start Lady Midnight!

I loved reading about Tessa and the rest of the TID gang again. Nostalgia.
This provided some insight into their kids. Yay! Finally, I get to meet the kids.

Jace hace su aparición en esta mini serie, como he llegado a notar están empezando a hacer personajes conocidos y se que Magnus y Alec aparecen. ¿Quien más? ¿Maia? ¿Luke y Jocelyn?
Mi nuevo brotp: Jace y Simon. Aww, en serio uno puede darse cuenta que Jace extraña a Simon pero el muy desgraciado se aprovecha de su amnesia para hacerle bromas a Simon. Las cosas no cambian.
No esperaba la aparición de mi bruja favorita: Tessa. Grité de la emoción, lo admito, porque Tessa es lo mejor.
Pero la cereza del pastel es Will y la historia que Tessa cuenta sobre el caso de "Jack el destripador" que el enclave de Londres resolvió. Ay Will, como te extraño.
Dejaré los relatos por hoy pero ¡hey! Voy de nuevo al día con mi reto de este año. Además, tengo que esperar hasta el 17 por el último relato y mejor no sufrir demasiado esperando y voy poco a poco con las historias.

Tessa, Will, their kids, Jem, Gabriel, Cecily, and Jace are in this novella so it's instantly a 5-star read.
Could I have more Will, Tessa, and Jen and the rest? And a few more details about Tessa and Jace. They could be a whole other short story.
I haven't read the Mortal Instruments series yet so I didnt really understand Simon's part in this story but when Tessa Gray came as a guest lecturer to the academy and her story was told in a flashback, I lost it.
I saw a new glimpse of Will Heorndale and my heart became full. And James! Little Jamie they call him. He's so cute! And his spoon. I love spoons now. And dear Will! He gave his two year old son a dagger who was using it to stab the couch! Tessa's brain must be fried now, living with such a man. *jk* I'd love to have my mind boggled by Will Herondale thank you please.
I also loved seeing Will and Gabriel's relationship. Man, their little fights give me so much joy. This story was an interesting take on Jack the ripper. Gabriel thought that he was no mere human, but a demon so him, Cecily, Will and Tessa begun their investigation. Jem was also joined them sometimes as a silent bro lol.
There was this part where Tessa described sometimes Will would get tired and sleep on her shoulder and she would sit beside Jem and hold his hand. This trio confuses me so much. How do either of them do it?
Loved this and when i say love meaning whatever snippets of Will Herondale I got. I enjoyed this momentary glance at his domestic life and how happy he is. I already love James Herondale and if he's anything like his father, he's gonna definitely break my heart.
