Comenzamos bien el relato con Simon y con George jugando a yo espió con mis ojos lo cual es bastante enternecedor a decir verdad.
Y es un buen contraste para la siguiente escena que sería la de Simón entrenando haciendo esa escena del árbol. Fue bueno ver a hace de regreso, ya a un Jace con sus traumas resueltos luego de ciudad del fuego celestial y fue bueno verlos conversar de la forma que li hacían y como ellos dos se hablaban comúnmente mientras que el resto de la academia lo veía a Jace como si fuera una especie de dios cosa que seguramente me gustaba a Jace.
Todo el asunto de Jack el destripador fue bastante interesante a decir verdad y podía entender porque los alumnos estaban escuchando muy atentos la historia que contaba Tessa. Por cierto leer acerca de ella, Will, Gabriel, Cecily y sus hijos hace que mis ganas de leer las últimas horas aumenten inmensamente. También me gustó la resolución que se le dio con dl demonio y poder ver a Jessamine de nuevo con su casa de muñecas.
Tessa hablando con Jace fue algo lindo debido a que hizo que Jace viera con otros ojos a los Herondale, y también ma carta final de Simón a Isabelle me hizo reír bastante.

This series is supposed to be about Simon and his experiences in the Shadowhunter Academy.... So shouldn't they be focusing on Simon and not flashbacks and pop up visits from other key characters in every story? Let Simon stand on his own and have the spotlight through his own merit.
This was a fun book! It was great to see the Infernal Devices characters again, just a bit removed from where the last book left off. I did enjoy the Jack the Ripper back story, but that felt a bit rushed and like a lot of build up for a small payoff. I did like seeing Jessamine as a ghost and I liked how she helped out. I wonder if she'll play an important role in the new series. I love the interaction between Simon and Jace. I'm definitely excited for the next story!
One word: Herondale. Will herondale. This book just gave me all the feels. I didn't even care about simon and his story really, all I wanted was more Tessa, Will, and Jem and the TID crew!. It just makes me want to read TLH even more now
