While this isn’t the best book I’ve ever read, this is the book I needed at that moment. I wanted to yell at Bee when she was being dumb and I loved watching Bee and Levi’s interactions. Also! That plot twist got me (which is rare!) I was not expecting it!

Thus far this was the best from the Ali Hazelwood universe. Bee is actually very likable and I enjoyed reading her. Finally an Ali Hazelwood protagonist who is outspoken, smart and has a spine. The "adorkable" characters from her other books were getting tiring. Btw, can we stop making women usless adults? Not knowing how to cook, bein messy and not exercising is not cute or endearing, it is concerning past certain age.

A lot of aspects of the plot were predictable
Levi being Shamc, them falling in love
In spite of this, I just ate the hole book in two days and so it's safe to say that it didn't matter that some parts where a cliche and some characters were way too clueless, I still loved it.
I didn't see Guy's plot-twist coming only that someone was tampering with their research so that was a shock.
Bee's feelings of self consciousness about her body, the possibility of someone loving her and her being capable of success were extremely relatable along with her fear of being betrayed again by a partner and/ or a friend - her paranoia related to this was incredible and liberating.
