However, Love on the Brain was phenomenal, and has been replaying in my head nonstop after weeks of my first read.
There are so many things to love: the main character Bee, is such a quirky, smart, and wonderful lead, and was very well fleshed out by the author. The love story incredibly beautiful, and the connection between Bee and her love interest was palpable. Above all else, it’s fun! The writing style is humorous and lighthearted, ultimately making it the most I have enjoyed reading in a while!
For any romance fans who love strong female main characters, a stem environment, and a perfect summer read, I would highly recommend.

Hmmm. The romance was cute and I really like the use of facts and humour by narrator and characters. It was predictable but I don’t mind.

I love the setup of the romance, the mix with random insights on neuroscience and I find the main character very cute.
I’m giving it 4,75 ⭐️, just it’s not mind-blowing like the last 5⭐️-book I read.
If you need a quick read, some distraction and you still don’t want to feel like you’re actively deteriorating your brain while reading (not sure if that’s possible, haha), read this book.
I just recently heard this term: Premium popcorn. This is premium popcorn in a book.
Moderate: Death, Sexism, and Misogyny
Minor: Death of parent
