Ali Hazelwood has managed to kidnap my brain, my heart, and my 🐱 on this one. I finished it in less than 26 hours — started it at work one day and finished it the next. I fell in love with the characters and desperately needed to see more. I cried at least 8 times and it was worth it. But seriously, if someone makes a real Levi Ward, give me a call. Please. I beg of you. I told my boyfriend he’s gonna have to read this one. And now you have to too. Just read it. Fall in love with two giant NASA nerds. Just do ittt

While I did not enjoy this book as much as The Love Hypothesis I did really enjoy the story. Ali Hazelwood is able to create real characters that I truly care about. This book had me laughing, rolling my eyes, and wanting me to yell at the characters to just kiss already. The chemistry between Bee and Levi was absolutely *chefs kiss* and I loved some of the fun pop culture references. I always enjoy the STEM-inist themes in Ali Hazelwood’s books, she is easily becoming a favorite and auto-buy for me.

A 5-star romance. It was funny, sexy, and STEM. The romance trope (as always) was obvious, but the rest worked. I loved how she wove in facts about Marie Curie.

Warning (or enticement!): graphic sex scenes

I've only ever read one other Allie Hazlewood book (yes The Love Hypothesis) but even I think this is just too similar to her debut novel. I like that it's fast-paced and a fun read but I do wish she'd change it up a bit. Especially with character descriptions, all I got from Levi is that he's tall (which she mentions ALOT), has green eyes, comes from a military family (same as her other books), and is grumpy most of the time. I might re-read if I'm stuck in a reading slump but this might be one of the rare times where the book would be better as a movie (if they ask her to develop this as a rom-com on Netflix it would be a hit trust me).

Hated it. Start to finish.

Quite possibly the most poorly written fellatio scene I've ever read (and i have read many, over the years). I felt like puking after he told her to open her mouth.

this book was so so much fun! I absolutely loved it :) Bee had a lot of character development and Levi was a communication star at the end. I love how Ali made the enemies arch much more legitimate in this one because if I were Bee I’d think he hated me too with his behavior. I love the depth between why he and Levi are who they are and I love the side characters too! Rocio and her fun facts are great. Penny is the cutest too. The ending with Guy was a little extreme for me, but I feel like parts of it are realistic tho.

Go Ali for writing love stories for women in STEM🫶🏽 especially women who stand up for each other #WWMD👩🏽‍🔬

loved this book! Took me a while to get into it and for a while I thought The Love Hypothesis was better (and imo they’re completely different) but actually in this one there’s anonymous social media accounts, steminist politics, spice, enemies to lovers, espionage, sabotage, and cats. Everything I love. I do wish the beginning was a bit more exciting and some plot twists weren’t so predictable but it definitely picked up and I’d recommend to romance readers everywhere.
