Painfully shallow book.

It may seem like a really sad book exploring various struggles women face but in reality its all very surface level.

It wouldve really helped if this book was split into 4 different books about the sisters to really get some depth to it.

Also nothing really happened.

After the very raw and dark elements of this authors first book I was pleasantly surprised that this book didn’t delve into more of the darker aspects of relationships which I appreciated. As the oldest of three sisters I could relate to Avery’s perspective a little more. A wonderful family saga about the four Blue sisters and their individual struggles with trauma and loss.
