I enjoyed this and wanted to know what would happen. The  exploration of inter generational addiction issues was very realistic. I was rooting for all of the sisters  survival and happiness.

Sometimes I really liked it, other times I felt the writing was quite bad / predictable. Luckys character was very tropey and boring for me.

Mooi verhaal!

As a someone with two sisters, I am drawn to books exploring these bonds—especially the dynamics of closeness in a group of three. The story lines had me hooked and reading later into the evening than I ought but I also felt like some things didn’t need to be as explicitly written as they were (if all authors could take notes from the Kristen Kashore Graceling trilogy, I’d appreciate). The conclusion felt almost too “happily ever after”, considering the mess each sister was facing, but I enjoy happy endings so I don’t even know why I mention it. I suppose to explain my rating. Although often trite points, I appreciated the sisters’ reflective moments the most.
