Yall know this is a Laura stan account but this was sadly not itttt.

The intimate scenes were so cringy in this lmfao. Like ma'am, you can't have an fmc say she's never gotten off by a man, then proceed to have her get off in 4 seconds by dry humping. Wut? 🤔😂

THEN the river scene just sent me into orbit. That is not hot.. that is a UTI waiting to happen, I fear.

This series might just not be it for me, but thats okay! We're gonna keep throwing spaghetti at the wall until something sticks, baby. In Laura we trust.🫡

Good Mmc. FMC ok a bit whiny. Some cringy corny language in th book. Good friendships. Great family banter.  Not my favorite from thus author.

Laura Pavlov I love her so much… this did not disappoint
Forbidden love, workplace, he falls first. Secret. Coaches daughter, hockey star and PT
Eloise has to move to the star player hometown to rehab him for three months on the off season. She is nit happy about it at all
But what she soon realizes is that Clark is not just the star player on the ice, he is everything she ever dreamed of falling for. But he dad being the coach and it going against he contract it gets a little messy

My Rating: ❤️❤️❤️❤️

In Short: Laura is a master at small-town romances. I love her books so much. She writes such swoony, fun stories.

General Thoughts: I love Laura Pavlov, so my expectations for her books are always high. This one did not disappoint. It was fun to get to see so many familiar faces from the Magnolia Falls series, too.

Laura is fabulous at creating small-town romances full of people you love and a setting you want to visit. This was a fun hockey-lite romance. I enjoyed the main characters and the way their relationship unfolded. It was cute, fun, swoony, and well written. Laura writes it; I'm going to read it. I love her books. I received a review copy for free and am leaving this review voluntarily. Thanks to the author and Valentine PR.
