The intuitiveness of beings outside of humanity is so well utilized here. Like, the way they resolved the “fake-ally” plot in just two issues because, as a witch, our protagonist can just “smell” bs… thrilling.

It’s strange that, from this volume, I learned both how to do expository dialogue well and how to overuse it.
Something that became a problem in the later issues was the third person narration. While, previously, it would spice the world up a bit, later on it’s butting in at all times—repetitive in its function.
The end wasn’t properly telegraphed, which makes it feel very much deus ex machina-ish.
Still retains the vibes tho.
