A really nice book that explores male friendships, nature and coping with mental health.

I absolutely loved the backdrop of the English countryside and a phenomenon that is still so well known.

The characters are humourous and I enjoyed reading about their friendship, especially in the context of mental health, which I did think was written remarkedly well.

I honestly would read a series of books about Calvert and Redbone, the characters are so interesting and Myers writes them so well.

Overall a decent book but compared to 'The offing' it falls completely flat.
